Dorylus anomma nigricans, the army ant,

Army ants, also called driver ants swarm over the forest floor in great numbers foraging and attacking prey en masse. Because lack of feed happens quickly Dorylus do not construct permanent nests, forces each colony to move incessantly over the time it exists. Driver ant colonies are estimated to contain 20 million ants. The enormous queen, 5.5 centimeters long, is able to lay one egg every two seconds throughout her fifteen year life span.
