Queenless ant
Social insects often have workers and one queen. Twelve thousand species of ants exist on earth. Among them, only 200 have one but not the other. Deep within their nests, Streblognathus peetersi workers battle to gain the sole chance to become the top ranker, that is to say the "alpha" or the one who reproduces sexually.
