Roman Treasures of the Rhône River
Photographers Rémi Bénali and Patrick Landmann have spent 10 weeks working with Luc Long and a team of archaelogists and divers who have excavating the Rhône River. The Roman Treasures that they have found were unseen since 2000 years. A marble portrait of Cesar, the only one carved while he was Alive, a bronze statue of Victory gilded with gold-leaf and a bronze captive awaiting his death sentence are considered to be the most unique chefs d’œuvres ever found.
